NYC PowerShell User Group 2/10/14 - Dr. Ferdinand Rios and Brian Beach - SAPIEN and AWS

While Microsoft gets its new home in Times Square, we will be hosted downtown at the offices of Stack Exchange for this event!
What's New In SAPIEN

Dr. Ferdiand Rios, CEO of SAPIEN, will walk us through what is going on at our favorite PowerShell tools company.  PowerShell Studio, Primal Script, the PowerShell iOS app, and who knows what else might be revealed!

Windows PowerShell and AWS
Join Brian Beach as he provides an overview of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Windows professionals. Learn with Brian as he shows you why AWS is not only for opensource projects, and demonstrates that Azure is not the only option for Windows workloads.   Brian will begin with an overview of the AWS architecture focusing on those services most relevant to Windows.  Then he will build a simple environment from the ground up using PowerShell.

Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Block Storage (EBS), Amazon Machine Images (AMIs), and Security Groups will all be covered in this session.
