Charlotte PowerShell Users Group
The Charlotte PowerShell Users Group offers learning and support opportunities for IT administrators and developers working with PowerShell. While some meetings include guest speakers, most meetings are designated as "Script Club" sessions, where group members can bring in their own PowerShell scripts and receive advice and assistance from fellow group members. In addition, the group actively participates in the annual Scripting Games and holds it own mini-competitions to foster PowerShell knowledge in the Charlotte area.

Feb 7th Charlotte PowerShell Users Group Meeting
Let's try this Scripting Game again (and hope this time your host doesn't take ill)...
The focus of this game will be ... PowerShell drives, and the providers that love them. Specifically, you'll want to be familiar with the provider cmdlets, including such classics as:
* get-item
* get-childitem
* set-content
* get-itemproperty
and their ilk.
The meeting will be held in the MPR room in AP1.

Holiday Script Exchange
Our 12th official meetup is coming up fast. For December we're planning something special. In the spirit of sharing our group will host its first Script Exchange. This of this as an evening of "Shell and Tell". Each of you should challenge yourself to automate *something* with PowerShell - at work, at home, doesn't matter. Bring it with you to the Script Exchange, where we'll pair off and you'll have the chance to teach what you did to others and learn from what their work as well.

Scripting Game Event #3 August 2, 2012
The next scripting game is sure to be a great time. The goal of this scripting game is to learn how to create scripts and functions.
You will create a script that can play Rock, Paper, Scissors against other scripts. In a nutshell, your script will receive information about the state of the game, and it will return a single string (either rock, paper, or scissors) to indicate which move to make next.
