NYC Meeting - 9/10/2012 - Tome Tanasovski - PowerShell 3.0 and CIM

Summer is over and school is back in session.  Even better yet, we're back in session!  Time for some PowerShell conversation, discussion, and general awesomeness.  We've discussed it before, but it's officially released:  PowerShell 3.0

PowerShell 3.0 and the CIM cmdlets

This month we are happy to have Tome Tanasovski to discuss PowerShell 3.0 and the CIM cmdlets.  CIM is the new standard that is used to connect to WMI.  With DCOM disabled by default on Windows Server 2012, it's extremely important to learn the new management story.  We'll be digging into this new standard along with a whole slew of new PowerShell 3.0 cmdlets and features

Pizza is being sponsored by Sapien, Makers of PowerShell Studio (formerly Primal Forms) and Primal Script
