After an extended break, we are back! Meeting discussion will be PowerShell and Performance Counters. We will cover the following:
- Using Get-Counter
- Using Export-Counter
- Discuss Scheduling for troubleshooting
Additionally, we will have a few books to give away:
Keith Mayer (Technical Evangelist, Microsoft) demonstrated all 2,400 new cmdlets with Windows Server 2012 and PowerShell V3. Well actually, he demonstrated a lot of functionality associated with the Hyper-V and Storage cmdlets.
Ed Wilson is in the house!
We will be discussing and exploring PowerShell V3. Topics include (but not limited to):
Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE) additions and enhancements
Various cmdlet updates
Ed Wilson, the Microsoft Scripting Guy and a well-known scripting expert, will be the kick off speaker for the new Cincinnati PowerShell user group. His topic will be "Using Windows PowerShell 3.0 to manage the remote Windows 8 workstation".
Come prepared to network, talk PowerShell and even volunteer to support this new user group!
