In lieu of a regular September meeting of the Syracuse Upstate NY PowerShell User Group, I'd like to invite people to attend my presentation at the CNY Developer Group on Sept. 8 at 6:00PM. The group also meets at New Horizons in DeWitt, NY. I will be doing a presentation on background jobs in PowerShell. Naturally, there will be plenty of demos.
You can learn more and register to attend at http://www.cnydevelopers.net. I hope you'll join me.
The July meeting of the Atlanta PowerShell User Group will be all about Jobs and Remoting. The presentation will be presented by Aaron Nelson, aka SQLVariant.
Some of the items covered include:

Our March user group meeting is on the 17th: St. Patrick's Day!
We will, as usual, have two presentations. But this month they will both be focused on scripting in PowerShell --
The beginner presentation covers roughly chapters 4-6 of PowerShell in Action: Operators, Expressions, Variables and flow control in PowerShell. We'll cover each of these with examples and lists, and give you a chance to ask questions and interact.
