March Madness: The fun stuff you can do with PowerShell
Thursday March 14th, at 6:30PM, Microsoft PowerShell MVP Joel Bennett will be speaking and sharing the diversity of the projects in the PowerShell community.
This meeting will be less formal than the usual slide-deck-and-demos presentation, and we're really hoping that you will participate by searching ahead of time for some interesting, fun, or just plain weird uses of PowerShell ... and bringing them to share.
On the tame side of things, we may discuss automation of virtual machine setup & software installs, software builds in PSake, software testing and even user interface automation. We'll also take a brief look at some of the hacker and security research tools being developed with PowerShell. We might look at building user interfaces, and we'll be sure to give you plenty of ideas for April Fool's Day pranks ;-)
As usual, we will start with a time of networking with Pizza at 6PM, and we ask that you RSVP by signing up below.
Remote attendees (and even presenters) are welcome also -- if you've got something weird that you wrote in PowerShell, you're more than welcome to come take a few minutes of our time and show us what you've got (if you wish to present your stuff, please email Jaykul at HuddledMasses (dot org) ahead of time to let us know and give us some details about what you're written!
